Snap Bro is a browser extension that takes screenshots and scroll recordings of web pages, lets you annotate them and saves them in your browser. It does not collect, send, sell or share any data about you.
Snap Bro reads a page only when you ask for a capture: by clicking its icon, using one of its keyboard shortcuts, or using its floating buttons if you turned them on. To capture a full page it scrolls the page, temporarily hides sticky headers and (if you allow it) cookie banners and popups, and restores everything afterwards. If you turn on auto-blur, it looks for email addresses, phone numbers and card numbers on the page so it can blur them in the capture. If you use "Copy text", it reads the text that was in the captured area. All of this happens inside your browser.
Scroll recordings capture only the tab you are on, and only after you start them. With "Clean recordings" turned on, your browser shows its own sharing prompt first. Recording stops when you press Stop or Esc.
Your captures, recordings, their titles, the address of the page they came from, your comments and your settings. They are stored only in your browser's extension storage on this device and are not synced.
Nothing. Snap Bro has no servers and makes no network requests. Screenshots, recordings and the pages you capture never leave your browser unless you copy, download or share them yourself.
Delete captures from the History page at any time. Uninstalling Snap Bro removes all captures, recordings and settings.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
